President of ACT NHW Mrs Margaret Pearson has declared nominations open for this year's ACT Neighbourhood Watch Member of the Year Award.
At the ACT NHW Annual General Meeting, 6pm Tuesday 25th September 2012 at the Ainslie Football & Social Club, 2 awards will be presented. The first is to a member (sworn or unsworn) of ACT Policing who has contributed above and beyond the call with regard to fostering a safer Canberra community in particular through Neighbourhood Watch. For the second award, the Association takes pride each year in honouring an 'ACT NHW member' for their significant contribution to the work and development of NHW in the ACT.
Nomination forms are now available. So, if you would like to nominate a worthy someone, download and print off the form, complete the details and either scan email it or post it to the President of ACT NHW as per the contact details on the form BY NOT LATER THAN COB FRIDAY 24TH AUGUST 2012.
